The dining room at Kings Heath Masonic Hall was packed with Royal Arch masons and their wives and partners to join in a celebration for the dedication, hard work and commitment of two of the hardest working people in the order.
John Phenix and Michael Cox have served as Most Excellent Grand Superintendent and Deputy Grand Superintendent respectively and the guests were anxious to show their appreciation of all their hard work.
The current M.E.G.S. (and Provicincial Grand Master) E Comp Stephen Wyer paid a warm tribute to the "dedicated service" given by both companions, the highlights of which you can hear on the video above.
The event marked the launch of E Comp Alan Robertson's book entitled "A history of the Provincial Grand Chapter of Worcestershire" and Alan gave a fascinating talk about his research methods and resources.
