William (Bill) Tucker retired from the Medical Profession after 30 years service as a Consultant Dermatologist. Realising that his new allotment would not provide all the stimulus required he accepted an invitation to join the Provincial Office as a member of the Year Book compilation team.
On the appointment of the new Provincial Scribe E he accepted the invitation and appointment as Provincial Assistant Scribe E.
He was Initiated into Carmarthen College Lodge No. 3280 in 1980, but having only progressed to the office of Steward his career then took him to Sheffield, and with an increasing workload and family commitments he became a "Country Member." He remained so until he retired to Droitwich Spa and
joined Elgar Lodge No. 9254 in 2003. He served as WM in 2009 and now serves as the Lodge Secretary. He also joined and became Master of Catshill Lodge No. 8584 in 2011 and is again in the WM's Chair. He was appointed and invested as Provincial Grand ChapterAlmonerat the April 2022 Annual Convocation
He joined the Royal Arch in 2007, some 25 years after being "Raised," and was Exalted into St. Wulstan's Chapter No. 280 where he became First Principal in 2015.
Bill has served as a Provincial Grand Steward in both the Craft and Royal Arch and is also a Member of the United Orders and the Ancient & Accepted Rite.
