Tonight was the second of the Provincial Grand Chapter "Get togethers" for all Companions and this evening we had some 60 in attendance.
After an introduction from the MEGS we had yet another interesting talk on the establishment of the English Language by our 3rd Provincial Grand Principal, E. Comp. Barry Griffin.
As shown above in the sub title, the translation is "I do not understand" and Barry gave many examples of the development of our language with particular emphasis on the German and French influence.
This was followed by another MEGS 20 question quiz, and the evening concluded with the customary Toast to "Absent Companions" with particular reference to E. Comp. Roy Padden who sadly Passed to the "Grand Chapter Above" yesterday.
